Mikey is brilliant !

Charlotte Sankey

I started Tai Chi when I was struggling with GCSEs as a way of relaxing. I also completed Tai Chi as a skill for my Duke of Edinburgh’s award and still enjoy practicing it. Mikey is brilliant ! Always has a smiley face and welcomes everyone. A very calming yet enjoyable experience.

Do it you won’t regret it

Vivienne

I have found over the last couple of years that Tai Chi has so many benefits - my posture has improved which helps my back, I also use it to calm me before a big meeting or presentation or when the world just winds me up! I personally also love to learn the principles behind it and you really learn some fab moves!!! But the unique element here is Mikey himself. He loves what he does and that is infectious. Do it you won’t regret it

RECOMMEND!!

Jeremy

I joined Mikey on a series of online beginners lessons and I have to say they were superb!! We were taken through the basic standing poses, the stretching sequences and then to the first parts of the ‘form’ itself. Mikey was excellent in coaching us along, introducing concepts and moves gradually and helped us to practice at our own pace. At the end of the series I’d started to appreciate the depth and value of this ancient martial art and it was a great experience too! RECOMMEND!!

I would highly recommend Mikey to anyone who is looking to learn Tai Chi

Sunny

I had weekly virtual Tai Chi sessions with Mikey which were a great relief during the COVID lockdown. I was unsure how it would work virtually but it was great - Mikey comes across as very personable and passionate and has an engaging teaching style which helps to understand and also remember the postures, stretching and Tai Chi form movements. The sessions helped mentally as they made me feel much calmer and also physically as I could feel it improved my flexibility and posture. I would highly recommend Mikey to anyone who is looking to learn Tai Chi.
